Continental Airlines chose Walk+Roll Cleveland for their August 2007 inflight magazine which is read by over 2.4 million people each month: It's that time of year, when the long days and balmy nights of a Midwestern summer lure us outdoors. For fun in the sun, take to the streets every Sunday this month. That's when cyclers, walkers, rollerbladers, and strollers rule Martin Luther King Boulevard, a beautiful 2.1 mile strip that winds its way from University Circle to Lake Erie. Dubbed Walk+Roll Cleveland, the gatherings promote community connections, healthy living, and vibrant public places. The normally busy thoroughfare is closed to all motorized traffic between E. 105th St. and the Rockefeller Greenhouse from 10am to 6pm, August 5, 12, 19, and 26 and September 23.
